I don’t often post to the community, this is one of my favorites. I have several of my friends who I like to make lightsaber sounds with, and this one is no exception.
At first I was a little surprised, but I have to say it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, which is saying something considering I’ve made the same thing with a lightsaber.
Oh yeah, this lightsaber is very simple. You need a piece of metal of some kind, about the size of a playing card, and a piece of string about 5 feet long. The metal piece should be sharp so that the string will come out cleanly. You also need some kind of battery to power the thing, a small one can usually do just fine, but you want to make sure it’s a good one.
the first thing you need to do is get the string and the metal piece made. You can do this on your own, but I recommend looking up some good videos or tutorials online. You’ll need to make sure it’s good for a lightsaber, i.e. that it doesn’t bend or break.
While the string is a little hard to find, you can find lots of good tutorials on Youtube showing you how to make your own lightsaber. You’ll also need some kind of battery to power it up, but there are plenty of tutorials online showing you how to make them work just fine.
The string itself is a little harder to find. The metal piece youve got is a good one, but as you can probably tell you can make this piece out of almost anything. You can check out the first video I made on the subject of making your own lightsaber. For the metal piece, you can use any kind of metal you want. It doesnt need to be stainless-steel. You can paint it black, you can even use some paint that will actually adhere to the metal.
The string itself is a lot of fun to make in the video, as it turns out. You can learn from it a lot. You can even make it out of string and string. It doesn’t have to be a long string, you can make it out of a few inches of string, a few strands of string, a few feet of string, a few pounds of string, a few ounces of string, a few ounces of string… just about anything.
One thing that I was going to do for you was to make a black one that I would then attach to my lightsaber. I know you dont want to do that, but I have a whole video of me doing that.
